PUBLIC POLICIES ON FAMILY FARMING: CONTEXT AND INFLUENCE OF THE NATIONAL SCHOOL FOOD PROGRAM (PNAE) AND BOLSA FAMILIA

This paper focuses on the context of the National School Meals Program (PNAE) and Bolsa Família in family farming and, having as population the children of farmers who live and work in rural areas. Thus, this study questions the conjuncture of public policies for agriculture and their influence on the maintenance of basic living conditions for students and the population in general. To this end, the fight against hunger with social policies, such as the Brazil Without Extreme Poverty Program, foster aspects for subsistence and minimum quality of life for students and parents. In this view, covering the significance of this theme encourages discussion and proposes reflection on the aspects inherent to public policies, their clashes and the resolutions that accompany them.
