MULTIPARENTAL ADOPTION AND ITS IMPACTS

Abstract

This article sought to analyze multiparental adoption and its impacts, whose legal field informs that children and adolescents have the right to family life, not causing doubts about the possible responsibilities. As methodological procedures, a bibliographical research was carried out on the studied theme and an exploratory research with their respective legal themes that portrays the approached theme, through the search of jurisprudence and regulatory norms of Brazilian Law. As a result, aspects relating to some effects of the multiparental adoption record can guarantee the authenticity of the affiliation, as well as the recognition of the multiplicity of bonds. It is concluded that even with the possibility of multiparental adoption, there is still a long way to go, possibly being close to the social reality with the law, thus assuming, in practice, the character of equality with the other family groups.
