Abstract

For years, the inconvenience of the work-related accident took the lives of many Brazilian workers. To think about this fatality, how to initiate the health of the worker. In the 70s, the federal government introduced a series of laws and measures that would cultivate employee health. And because of this, the CIPA (Internal Commission for the Prevention of Accidents at Work) was also created, which places the workers of the companies themselves as investigators of the risks that can lead to accidents at work. One of the professionals who help employees to take these risks is the occupational nurse, who has a scientific understanding of the risks of accidents at work and how to avoid them. It can be said that through these findings, no work was able to achieve its general objective, not what is a literature review on CIPA.
