A STUDY ON SAFETY SIGNALS

Abstract

Occupational safety is a science that works to prevent accidents and health problems associated with occupational risks. This care is usually carried out through a multidisciplinary approach that involves employee training, regular inspections and implementation of specific safety measures. Among the methods of protecting and ensuring the life, health and profession of workers who are inserted in the field of Occupational Safety, there is safety signaling in work environments. Safety signs fulfill the role of reference in the prevention of accidents in industries. The present study has as a problem question: “What is the importance of safety signs?”. As a general objective, consider the importance of safety signs. This segment aims to alert workers and visitors to the environment about the risks there, providing the location of protective equipment and other information essential for the safety of that environment.
