Male breast cancer is a very rare entity that represents a very small percentage of all cancers in men. Men do not have evolved breasts, however, like women, they have breast tissue, albeit flat and small, and can develop the disease, the most common subtypes are ductal carcinoma in situ, invasive ductal carcinoma and invasive lobular carcinoma. One of the first warning signs is the appearance of a lump, sudden enlargement of the breasts and emission of reddish intensity. This cancer is caused by the uncontrolled multiplication of abnormal cells, forming a tumor that can locally invade the chest wall or other organs. Some factors such as aging, family history of breast cancer, genetic mutations, hyperestrogenism syndromes, alcoholism and radiation exposure; contributes to the development of the disease. Some cancers developed quickly, while others tolerated it slowly. Most cases, when treated and in a timely manner, have a good prognosis.
