Atraumatic splenic rupture is rare and consists of rupture of the spleen without associated traumatic factors. Usually the organ is affected by another underlying pathology, but it can also occur in an organ without previous pathologies. The prognosis is related to the speed of diagnostic support. We report the case of a 23-year-old male patient, with no other known comorbidities, who evolved with atraumatic splenic rupture with good outcome of the case.
