Over they ears, many social changes have come with thein crease in the number of students seeking higher education. As more universities opened in Brazil, more jobs in this areaemerged. The democratization ofaccess to highe reducation has cause dsignificant changes in the way universities accept students. Prior to this change in education al policy, universities only accepted students with good grades and educational experiences. However, with theaddition of social inclusion and accessibility policies, students from poorer families and with different levels of education were accepted in to universities. This hás led to many important questions about the stay of university students in all countries. It was only a fterthe 1930s that discussions and debates about student assistance be came common place. These discussions revolvedar ound the creation of the first Brazilian universities. The creation of theses chools coincided with the creation of a government system for regulating student assistance. This documents eeks to create a system aticlistof topics andide as that have been discusse dont hisspecific issue. It is intended to indicate the many divergent opinionson this particular topic, as well as to create a systematized method for determining which ideas are viable. Ideal sand concepts are often a todds due to the difficulty of creating a student service program.
