Abstract

The e-book on screen discusses the appreciation and applicability of sustainability ideas in civil construction and the application of practices and technologies that aim to minimize the environmental impact and maximize the energy efficiency of buildings. This includes choosing renewable materials and energy sources, reducing resource waste, and implementing water and waste management systems. In addition, the construction of residential buildings can also improve the occupants' quality of life by increasing energy efficiency and environmental comfort.
