This work is the result of a qualitative research, based on a bibliographical inquiry and investigative analysis regarding the effectiveness of human rights and fundamental rights, mostly the need to safeguard them in a context that represents considerable offense to their essence and the to the real meaning of their application. The purpose of this study is to describe a historical context through the analysis of the formulations and correlations between the generations of fundamental rights, observing its combining aspects as well as the assigments of interdependence and convergence related to the perfomance of certain norms. Thereby, it's of utmost importance to seek ways to mitigate obstacles that may hinder the realization of human rights and the safeguard of its bastion, which is the dignity of humankind. Accordingly, taking into consideration the research problem, this analysis seeks to highlight the ways in which the fundamental principles of human and fundamental rights could've been promoted with effectiveness, not only in the sphere of public action by the governmantal power, but also considering the vital role played by social organizations for the fullfilment of these rights, which contributes to the mitigation of legal and social insecurities as it quenches the ways in which violations and opressions occur.
