Abstract

This article intends to approach in a synthetic way the pandemic of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) in confrontation with the norms determined to the society by the state based on legal bases, with the objective of preventing the virus from spreading among the population and evidencing the laws, rules of law, ordinances and decrees adopted in the current socioeconomic crisis. Aiming at the perception of how in practice the rules in Brazil can prevent the increase in the circulation of the virus, delimiting the sanctions of crimes that should be imposed on the citizen who does not comply with the rules established in a mandatory manner.
