ENVIRONMENTAL AND URBAN PLANNING OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD BEIRA RIO, TUCURUÍ-PA

Abstract

Considering the existing irregular urban occupation in many municipalities in the northern region of Brazil, thus causing socio-environmental impacts and limitations to local and, consequently, regional environmental and urban planning; therefore, the reality in loco of the Beira Rio neighborhood in the municipality of Tucuruí, Pará was studied, because it is a place with characteristics inherent to the theme and guidelines of lack of urban and environmental planning, as well as, for presenting itself as a passive area the environmental protection of its permanent preservation areas. Therefore, we worked on the application of suggestions for proposing temporary and permanent solutions, in order to mitigate the application of environmental and urban planning in that neighborhood by the competent public bodies.
