This research refers to the importance of the Family Protection and Integral Care Service (PAIF) in the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) in SANTAREM / PÁ. The PAIF is essential for the protection of social assistance, ensures socializing spaces, informs and guarantees access to social assistance rights, for the development of family autonomy and the expansion of its protective capacity. The objective was to identify what the families participating in the CRAS Urumari, in the Municipality of Santarém (Pá) know about the Integral Attention to the Family Program (PAIF) the perspective regarding participation in the program and also strengthens family and community ties, favoring the expansion of life prospects for the most vulnerable families and access to opportunities. ???????? To achieve the proposed objectives, bibliographical, documental, exploratory and field research were used. The collected data were analyzed from a qualitative perspective. It was assumed that there was participation. During the development of this work, the articulation that the CRAS has with the PAIF will be perceived and thus, deepening the family knowledge. In this sense, it is expected that all families assisted by CRAS will receive care and follow-up, demanded in such a way that these families have participation, recognition of social, economic and political rights; expansion of spaces and opportunities for sociability and social protagonism; impact on the im/*provement of the living conditions of the referenced families and individuals; resoluteness on the occurrence of situations of social vulnerability.
