ANALYSIS OF BLOCKS ON PILES WITH CENTERED LOAD

Abstract

This article is intended to demonstrate the importance of foundations and to calculate the dimensioning of foundation blocks. There are two types of foundations: direct, in which the load is transmitted directly to the ground through the base of the element used (footing and raft). And deep in which the load is transmitted to the soil through piles or pipes, through the base and friction or lateral adhesion of the same. The foundation blocks are dimensioned taking into account the requesting efforts, the characteristics of the soil and the structural elements that make up the foundation, as it is through it that the load resulting from the superstructure is subdivided to the infrastructure (piles or pipes).
