Abstract

Introduction: Sunscreen is a dermocosmetic that can be applied through creams, ointments, spray or topical product that protects the skin against ultraviolet rays, reducing the chances of having burns and even skin aging in the future. Objective: The article aims to understand the importance of quality control in sunscreen formulations and also the correct use of it, so that the individual has satisfactory results. Conclusion: Although the advancement of technology for the formulations of dermocosmetics is happening quickly, the study had its objective concluded and showed that the progress to arrive at the effectiveness of the product, where it evaluates its formulation together with the FPS, is of extreme importance to guarantee good results for the consumer.
