Abstract

The search for beauty and rejuvenation has become something constant among, especially women. It is understood that the concept of beauty is intricately linked to the fact that different individuals look for diverse ways to make their skin healthier and more beautiful, doing everything possible to eliminate or reduce abnormalities, stains, wrinkles, or loss of elasticity. The main objective of this study was to understand which actions to take in the event of lip fillers. Its specific objectives were to explain the epidermis, identify aesthetic procedures, specify the benefits of aesthetic procedures and, finally, highlight the possible complications of lip fillers. The origin of the research was conducted through the Google Scholar and Scribd search platforms, articles, and books. Thus, it was possible to understand that it is essential that professionals working in this area have extensive knowledge about harmonization and anatomy, as this is essential knowledge to avoid these complications.
