PROPOSAL FOR PSYCHOLOGICAL CARE IN THE UNITED HEALTH SYSTEM (SUS) WITH A FOCUS ON PRIMARY HEALTH CARE, APPLIED TO USERS, FAMILY MEMBERS AND HEALTH PROFESSIONALS

Abstract

The inclusion of psychologists in primary health care led these professionals to rethink their practices, actions and conduct, taking into account the reality of the community with which they intend to work and the purposes of this level of care. This article sought to define health psychology in the field of primary care, with the objective of verifying the specialties of the psychologist's practice and the types of assistance provided to patients, family members and the health team. In this way, a bibliographic survey was carried out on the subject, considering the role of the psychologist in the low complexity level of the Unified Health System.
