DIAGNOSES AND PATHOLOGICAL SOLUTIONS IN REINFORCED CONCRETE

Abstract

The growing demand in the construction market has a negative effect on the final product of this acceleration. Combining with materials, construction techniques and unqualified labor, bringing with it pathologies, especially in reinforced concrete. The decrease in the useful life of the enterprise brings a financial disorder for the owner in the recovery of these pathologies. This work aims to study the main causes of pathological problems related to reinforced concrete structures, and may be them due to failure in execution, in the project or even in maintenance during their useful life. This article will highlight the origin of the flaws in reinforced concrete structures pointing out the four main causes of pathological manifestations that are first and foremost in the deficient project; secondly, in execution failures; third, in the materials used; fourth, in the misuse of buildings by users. The research will have descriptive case method, approach on pathologies in reinforced concrete, with diagnosis and pathological solutions and their main occurrences in relation to failures, materials, design and execution.
