The fight against disease vectors requires constant effort, but interventions are hampered due to poorly applied methods. This causes confusion in the therapeutic underpinnings of the systems. The animal health of a production system is related to the control of helminths in cattle, which can be achieved through the treatment of these vectors, allowing producers to decide whether they want to reduce parasite infections in their herd. This is expensive and difficult, but it can be done by any livestock producer who has the budget for the expenses. Healthy animals and high control against parasites leads to above average results. This study aimed to evaluate the use of endectocide to increase the pregnancy rate in the FTAI protocol. The animals that received Evol ® had 21.82% more pregnancy rate than those that did not. The treatment group had better pregnancy outcomes compared to the control group.
