Nutrition has a great impact on the reproduction of females, and the energy potential of the diet is linked as the main factor, bringing some consequences of its low intake, such as the drop in conception and gestation rates in cows, in addition to the delay in the beginning of the period. puberty and the interval of first ovulation. The reduction of amino acids in the bloodstream can lead to a decrease in LH secretion, leading to low fertility, so it is necessary to maintain a mineral and vitamin status in all animals intended for reproduction. In addition to taking care of the animals' nutrition, health care is also necessary, since it is also an important part of the reproduction process. Some reproductive diseases generate great economic losses causing great damage to producers. There are currently several vaccines on the market with the purpose of maintaining the health status of the herd, but they are not unique measures and must always be combined with good management. The objective of this work is to evaluate the reproductive performance of Nellore heifers receiving injectable amino acid supplementation (AminofortⓇ), in Fixed Time Artificial Insemination (FTAI) protocols.
