Objective: To present, through a search in the available literature, aspects related to TCD in the treatment of lymphedema secondary to mastectomy. Methodology: An integrative literature review with a descriptive character and an interpretive approach, carried out from September to October 2022 in the databases: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO) and Virtual Health Library (BVS). For this, the descriptors were used: breast neoplasms, lymphedema related to breast cancer, physical therapy and mastectomy. All registered in the Descriptors in Health Sciences (DeCS). The inclusion was limited to: full articles, available for free in the selected databases, in Portuguese, English and/or Spanish, published between the years 2017 to 2022; and exclusion: those derived from secondary data, such as review studies, in addition to monographs, dissertations and theses. Results: Five articles were included in the presented review. All treatment quality studies that promote treatment volume reduction in patients' lives are improved. However, some studies are recommended to obtain more satisfactory results with the necessary treatment that TCD has already started in the first signs of lymphedema onset. Final Considerations: TCD is considered a golden lymphoid in the treatment of edema secondary to mastectomy, promoting a significant reduction in limb volume and better functionality and quality of life. However, there is still no peculiarity of the aspects related to its applicability, with divergence between the existing protocols, so it is necessary to carry out further studies.
