EFFECT OF SUPPLEMENTATION IN NELORE BREED CATTLE WITH A COMMERCIAL PRODUCT COMPOSED OF AMINO ACIDS, VITAMINS, ANTIOXIDANTS AND MINERALS ON THE QUALITY OF THE EJACULATE

Abstract

The objective of this work was to report the result of the supplementation of male breeders created in Central for the production of semen, submitted to the use of a certain Nutraceutical composed of amino acids, vitamins, antioxidants and minerals, added to their diet, during a period of sixty days and evaluating the sperm production, for the quantitative and qualitative parameters for the following semen characteristics: Number of ejaculates, volume, motility, vigor, concentration, number of straws produced, major defects, minor defects and total defects. At the end of the estimated time, a comparative analysis was carried out with the production of the previous sixty days before the start of treatment. With the crossing of the results it is possible to conclude that the sperm production of the reproducers treated with the Nutraceutical showed improvements in its production.
