Abstract

Dentoalveolar trauma is an injury that affects dental structures, with different degrees of damage. They are frequent emergencies in dental clinics, but this type of accident usually affects the anterior teeth, especially the upper ones, which are essential for a harmonious smile. Tooth trauma is a dental emergency that requires a professional to provide prompt but thorough treatment. It is necessary to know the factors related to this type of intercurrence. Thus, the present work, through a brief literature review, covers the different aspects associated with dental trauma.
