The present work establishes its focus around the process of identity formation in the globalized world, considering all the impact involved in the existing link between social networks and the strong influence exerted by this dynamic in the construction of the being, thus generating a denial of singularities, transforming subjectivity into a model to be reproduced. It aims to reflect on how this interaction in social networks results in consequences in the process of identity formation of the subjects. For that, a bibliographic review was carried out, consisting of reading articles, books and other texts, based on the study of authors related to the theme. It starts from the hypothesis that the consumption of content produced by these networks is associated with the way the subject places himself in the world, and consequently to this in the development of a standardization of identification.
