SURVEY OF URBAN AFFORESTATION IN FIVE NEIGHBORHOODS OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF APERIBÉ – RJ

The present study analyzed the diversity and road and phytosanitary conditions of urban afforestation in the municipality of Aperibé - RJ. Foram analyzedthe s streets of the streets and the neighborhoodsthat are around him through weekly visits, thende were made notes in spreadsheet and the trees found were photographed and analyzed individually. It was observed that despite the diversity found, there is an imbalance with regard to the distribution of the same tree species. Of the 30 families found, Fabaceae was the abundant mais, and the native species were suppressed by the exotic ones and all the trees surveyed were fruity. Licania tomentosa Benth., the Mangifera indicates L. and Ficus benjamina L. they presented the most phytosanitary problems. 98.8% of the trees were healthy and 94% had no problems at the root, but many were devoid of retreat and free area around them, and the conflicts of the trees with the electricity grid represented half of the viable problems. The inventory allowed the analysis of tree species and provides an updated diagnosis of the urban afforestation of the municipality, which in the future will serve as a basis for the maintenance and management of the area by responsible agencies.
