OZONIOTHERAPY AS ADJUVANT IN THE TREATMENT OF DIABETIC FOOT

Abstract

Introduction: Ozone therapy as a concomitant proposal to conventional therapy in cases of diabetic foot consultations. Understand the benefits and Purpose: yours. Materials and Methods: Literature review carried out in the databases: Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), Scholar Google, Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SciELO), Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (Lilacs), Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (Medline) e UpToDate. The descriptors used were: diabetes mellitus epidemiology, diabetic foot, diabetic foot consultations, diabetes complications, ozone, ozone mechanism of action and ozone therapy. Result: The data found and found the destruction frame. Conclusion: Oiotherapy is a viable complementary method for the treatment of diabetic foot consultation.
