THE IMPORTANCE OF THE NURSE'S PERFORMANCE TO VICTIMS OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE

Introduction: every year many women go through trauma or lose their lives, victims of sexual violence. And most health professionals are unprepared to help them. Objective: to analyze the performance of nurses in the face of care in case of sexual violence against women and to identify the challenges faced by nurses during their performance in the face of sexual violence. Materials and Methods: 12 articles were selected from 2018 to 2022 in the databases ReBIS (Brazilian Interdisciplinary Journal of Health), JONAH (JOURNAL OF NUASING AND HEALTH, Revista de Enfermagem, SCielo (Scientific Electronic Library Online). Results: the number of highest results found in the first graph containing 56% of responses Conclusion: The development of this study allowed us to analyze how the nursing professional needs to have a preparation to care for women victims of sexual violence.
