Objective: To summarize scientific evidence on the knowledge of pregnant women about pharmacological analgesia during normal delivery. Method: An integrative review, carried out in five databases, with a time frame from 2011 to 2022, using the descriptors “Pain in Childbirth”, “Obstetric Analgesia” and “Labor Work” and the MesHs “Labor Pain”, “Obstetrical Analgesia ”, “Labor Presentation”. Results: Fifteen productions were selected, in which there was a low supply of information to women about pharmacological analgesia, especially during the prenatal period. Since most pregnant women prefer vaginal delivery, however, the lack of humanized care, communication and exchange of information, pharmacological and non-pharmacological practices, often lead women to opt for cesarean delivery. lack of guidance, on the part of health professionals, on the forms of analgesia in normal delivery for pregnant women, which has repercussions on the low knowledge of these women regarding their rights and their autonomy in the possible choice of pharmacological relief, although it is a distant reality from many parturients.
