ASSESSMENT OF SLEEP QUALITY OF MILITARY FIREMEN OF THE MIRIM FIRE PROJECT OF THE CITY OF RIO BRANCO ACRE

Sleep is a very complex situation that occurs periodically in all human beings and that can be adapted but never avoided. The objective of this study was to evaluate the sleep quality of military firefighters from the Mirim Firefighter Project of Rio Branco Acre and as a specific objective to evaluate the sleep quality of female and male military firefighters. This is a quantitative and descriptive census survey carried out at the Firefighter Mirim Project in the municipality of Rio Branco, state of Acre, from 2019 to early 2020. After signing the free and informed consent form, the questionnaire called Index was answered. of Pittsburgh Quality on all Military Firefighters working on the project. The results showed that the average number of hours of sleep per day was 6.7 hours and 95% of the firefighters had poor sleep. It is concluded through the Pittsburgh questionnaire that the sleep quality of firefighters was evaluated as poor for both men and women.
