The spread of Covid-19 has impacted the lives of people around the world and is more likely to affect pregnant women. Maternal and newborn health guidance is rapidly being produced in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. This systematic review aimed to show the main recommendations regarding the labor of pregnant women with Covid-19 or who are under suspicion and to know the effect of coronavirus infection (SARS-CoV-2, MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV) during pregnancy and its impact on labor. This is a systematic literature review of publications in journals. A bibliographic search was carried out through the search sources constituted by electronic resources in the following database: Pubmed. Inclusion criteria were articles published from 2020 to 2021 in English and Portuguese. The exclusion criteria were those articles that did not contain the theme in its entirety and that were from the delimited period. After surveying the articles through the databases and following the pre-established inclusion criteria, we obtained a total of 32 studies that were read and the results of articles were displayed in a table. Sharing data can help countries that are likely to be affected by the virus epidemic in the future to prevent maternal and neonatal complications associated with Covid-19. It is therefore recommended that all women and newborns are assured that their rights are respected while receiving care in a health facility despite the pandemic, with special attention to inclusive, quality maternity care. Women with a psychological history need special consideration and care as their concerns, fears and concerns will be particularly relevant.
