It has become popular in recent years in dissemination and communication actions, in an attempt to connect the physical world to the digital world, QR Codes prove to be effective in the interactive promotion of brands and products to users of mobile devices. This work aimed to evaluate the possible pedagogical applications of QR Codes through a proposal for the elaboration of personalized QR Codes and the investigation of the potential of applicability with teachers working in Basic Education. The results suggest that, in the teachers' perception, the production of QR Codes is accessible and practicable, and can increase student motivation and engagement. The introduction of QR Codes in the classroom has the potential to contribute to the teaching-learning processes and promote meaningful learning, regardless of the area or curricular component. The work therefore contributed to understanding the potential for using this technology within the reality of working teachers and paves the way for the study of pedagogical training for the use of QR Codes. Future works should also propose the investigation of the students' reality and their interest in the applicability of this technology in the classroom.
