In today's world, consumer relations are part of our routine all the time. With the technological evolution and the deliberate access to social networks through the internet, several applications and websites have emerged capable of satisfying a large part of human needs, with just one click, without having to leave the house, in the comfort of your home. However, many times when purchasing a certain product, the consumer is not correctly informed of their rights through their purchase, which, if clearly informed, could avoid several damages. In Brazil, the Consumer Defense Code (CDC) was created to govern consumer relations and ensure the protection of consumer rights. This legislation brings a series of rules so that consumers are not placed in a situation of vulnerability, one of which is the right to regret. This article will point out how the application of the right to repentance works in consumer relations in online purchases and in which cases such right will be applied.
