The study seeks to present sustainable ways and alternatives to reduce the problems resulting from biogas coming from the landfill. Over the years, the production of waste increases and, consequently, the problems related to the gases present are also getting worse. Biogas is a gas resulting from the composition of organic waste, consisting of carbon dioxide and methane. When methane gas is released into the air, it is one of the main reasons for global warming, which is why most of it is burned in landfills, thus transforming itself into carbon dioxide and reducing its potential for the greenhouse effect. Through this, a way to reuse, in a sustainable way, the biogas emitted by waste will be presented. Introducing through this study a way to instead of burning this gas, reuse it as fuel to generate electricity.
