THE POSITIVE IMPACTS OF THE APPLICATION OF INDUSTRY 4.0 IN THE AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR MOST CITED IN THE LITERATURE

Abstract

In this bibliographic review, aspects and concepts of Industry 4.0 and its use are introduced to readers, a topic that has been constantly developed in the Brazilian academic environment. The industry 4.0 theme is very broad and new, which is why it is so important that this type of review article exists, as it is the one who gathers all the content and synthesizes it into one, enabling a good understanding of the topic. This article aims to inform what were the most cited consequences in the literature on the subject of automation implementation in the automotive sector. This work was carried out by reviewing articles by authors who used similar terms of “Industry 4.0”, “automation”, “automotive” and “automotive”. Texts that address the main technological innovations and their trajectory until the arrival of these updates were used as a basis for examples. Eight articles were used as the basis for this literary review. As a result, we have research that helps us understand the advantages of using Industry 4.0 technologies in automotive production.
