This article will carry out a study of the introduction of black people in Pelotas and Canguçu communities, as well as their cultures and aid for the development of their cities over time. Always making a counterpoint between the two locations, since they are very close geographically to each other, so the history of both is confused in several aspects, including in the sense of Afro-Brazilian colonization. Therefore, the work will begin with the introduction, which will infer an initial analysis on the subject addressed. Soon after, a more in-depth development of the theme will be described. Then, a conclusion will be drawn up, showing hypothetical situations and resolutions that could be valid for the development of the black community in this region, informing the bibliographic base of the study.
