CHARACTERIZATION OF THE PROTECTION OF IMMIGRANTS REFUGEES BEFORE THE BRAZILIAN LEGAL ORDER

The study proposes to present the characterization of the protection of refugee immigrants before the Brazilian legal system, from the analysis of the Federal Constitution of 1988, as well as the presentation of the entire trajectory of this institute in the world and especially in Brazil. Thus, it is divided into two parts. The first seeks to present the historical context of the refuge institute in the world and in Brazil. The second presents as its main objective the characterization of the protection of refugee immigrants before the Brazilian legal system, highlighting from the Federal Constitution of 1988 and jurisprudence. The objective of the work is to collaborate not only in the academic sense in the search for a continuous evolution of this scientific study, as well as to add a collaboration in the social field, since it involves an issue that is of public and social interest. To this end, bibliographic research was carried out through: books, articles, material published on the internet, Federal Constitution and Laws. It was possible to conclude that Brazil has advanced significantly over the years on the issue of refugees and that it is necessary, combined with legal achievements, for refugees to have political, social and cultural guarantees in Brazil.
