Introduction: Mayer - Rokitansky - Kuster - Hauser syndrome affects 1 in 4,500-5,000 female live births, characterized by aplasia of the upper two thirds of the vagina associated with a series of uterine anomalies, patients have normal female karyotypes (46XX), functioning ovaries and external sexual characteristics typical of age. The treatment consists in the creation of a neovagina, it can be by bloody or bloodless method, even after the creation of neovagina some sexual dysfunctions may be present as: dispaurenia, anorgasmia, pelvic pain among others. Method: A search was carried out in the database of SciELO, LILACS, PUBMED and Google Scholar, selecting articles with relevance to the research objective. Objective: To identify the role of physical therapy in the treatment of the syndrome in the creation of neovagina, as well as in the sexual dysfunctions that may be present. Conclusion: The signs present in the patients with the syndrome are similar to the sexual dysfunctions already treated in physical therapy, however research is needed to express the physiotherapeutic intervention in this public.
