Companies of all sizes and segments increasingly seek to have structured processes and with the advancement of production technology and management tools, companies are becoming more efficient and manufacturing products and services with increasing quality. this work aims to describe the simulation and control of processes in the electrical cable industry, commenting and analyzing data from an automated process for measuring electrical cable insulation diameters and thicknesses. the six sigma methodology will be applied as a management strategy and data collection will take place through a device called xray8000 that works like an x-ray focusing on isolation points in the extrusion process. to analyze the data, the minitab software was used and the results showed a value of cp and cpk greater than 1.33, being possible to conclude that the dispersion of the real process is represented by six sigma.
