In the current contemporary context, thinking and rethinking Law from new perspectives beyond those commonly used is an arduous task that is imposed on jurists, given that this intersection between different areas of knowledge contributes greatly to a better understanding of Law as a phenomenology. The research aims to weave reflections on the creation of laws and the principle of equality from an analysis of George Orwell's work "A Animal Farm". The methodological path will be guided by the method of Law in Literature, proposed by Henriete Karam (2017). To achieve the desired objectives, the work will use the bibliographic technique, considering that it will make use of materials already published in books, dissertations, periodicals and others available in the physical and virtual environment. The justification is given because of the high potential that literature has, in which it often has a potential contribution to the understanding of legal phenomena than traditional legal manuals. Finally, the study is based on the analysis of the book “A Révolution dos Bichos” focusing on and extracting the concept of equality, power and the creation of laws.
