THE IMPORTANCE OF DIGITAL FLOW IN ORTHODONTICS

Abstract

Orthodontic treatments involve multiple goals that go beyond aesthetics and to achieve them it is very important to start with a good diagnosis. Specific software and advanced equipment can contribute to obtaining better results. Digital Flow (FD) in orthodontics consists of digital diagnostic tools and digital therapeutic tools that allow you to better assess, plan and treat patients. The objective of the present study was to discuss the importance of digital flow in orthodontics. For that, a bibliography review was carried out through research in academic and scientific bases (PubMed, Bireme, Scielo). Concluding that in dentistry, especially in orthodontics, a specialty in which planning, and diagnosis are extremely relevant, the digitization of processes provides great precision, being an excellent visualization tool for both professionals and patients.
