The main objective of this work focuses on raising a conscious reflection on the themes Public Security, Human Rights and Citizenship, highlighting how they interconnect and are necessary to each other, for better protection and application of preventive and protective measures to citizens. . In addition, we seek to emphasize the need for initial and continued training of professionals in this area, based on human rights and citizenship in the light of the 1988 Constitution, that is, based on preventive actions and respect for constitutional guarantees. As a way of trying to achieve this goal, we sought through bibliographic research in various articles and magazines that focused on this subject.
