: The importance of early childhood education in critical/reflective training is something that must be affirmed in the presence of education professionals, observing, in the first year of elementary school, the differences between students who participate and those who do not participate in early childhood education; and articulate how education at this stage can contribute to human cognition and social formation. This stage of education is of great value, because it is in it that the child's personality is formed, which determines the factors that influence him to become an adult. However, there is still not a considerable amount of knowledge and appreciation for teaching at this stage, it is necessary to publicize its benefits in improving the quality of life and its important contribution to this. A bibliographic study was used for the accomplishment of this article, in which the results obtained highlighted the importance of the first stage of teaching, since it is seen that children who participated in early childhood education showed greater social and cognitive security.
