This research evaluates a perspective of malignant neoplasm of the bladder in Brazil in recent years, associating important data such as hospitalizations, mortality rate, age group, sex and ethnicity. For this, a literature review was carried out from April 2015 to April 2020 through planning analysis research, aiming at a search for this criticism on the subject. The search platforms Scielo, Pubmed and Up to Date were used in addition to the keywords: bladder cancer, epidemiology and urology. Twenty-three articles were selected and only ten was used. For this purpose, articles that were impossible to fully open access and those that were not in Portuguese or English were excluded. To complement, data collection was carried out in DATASUS, the SUS hospital information system (SIH/SUS), researching the number of hospitalizations, mortality rate, geographic distribution, age group, sex and ethnicity, average stay in Brazil . As a result, there was a higher density of hospitalizations and expenses in the more industrialized regions, in addition to an ethnic and cultural divergence in access to care. Therefore, it is necessary to reassess the disease panorama in order to provide an equitable distribution of health services in addition to optimizing the screening process in regions that concentrate risk factors for the development of the disease.
