Temporomandibular disorders are multifactorial conditions that affect the muscles of mastication and joints. Since December 2019, the COVID-19 Pandemic has been triggered, in which the SARS-CoV2 virus has spread rapidly throughout the world. Due to the uncertainty and lack of information about this new virus, countries have opted for a total quarantine (lockdown) changing the lives of many people drastic in personal, social and work terms, affecting mental health. For this reason, the incidence of stress worsening the symptoms of temporomandibular disorders. The presence of uncertainty increases anxiety and stress frequency, intensity and duration of habits for functional addition that increase masticatory muscle activity, therefore, there is an overload of the temporomandibular joint.
