CMM: A SOFTWARE MATURITY CERTIFICATION

Abstract

The object of the study was to provide a technical overview of the Capability Maturity Model for Software. For this study fell to rely on explanations and an entire theoretical framework, addressing and detailing the five levels of process maturity beyond citing positive examples of the use of the methodology to different segments and corporate departments. The methodology of the study involved the analysis of texts from books and articles that have already discoursed on the subject and also to analyze the implementation of CMM in companies and their consequent improvements in software development.
