Abstract

Androgenetic alopecia is something that affects different individuals, whether men or women. However, the perception of its consequences is felt in different ways by each one. Thus, the search for treatments, whether medical or aesthetic, becomes something increasingly present in society. That said, this work proposes to comparatively analyze the actions of lavender essential oil and minoxidil in the treatment of male androgenetic alopecia. This is a first discussion, as this is a significant topic in the field of aesthetics and health.
