ABSTRACT: Talking about the inherent rights to health is always complex, when, in fact, it should not be, as the Federal Constitution not only brings health as a fundamental right, but also guarantees its unrestricted access to all citizens. However, in practice, these accesses do not exist. Women overcome real institutional violence by wandering between hospitals and clinics linked to the Unified Health System (SUS) to get consultations with specialized doctors, tests and treatments they need. The World Health Organization (WHO) considers infertility a global health problem and, as it is understood as a purely biological problem, it is recommended that all countries adapt to new techniques for its treatment, through artificial insemination, in vitro fertilization, egg donation etc. All these techniques are framed as forms of family planning, which is the set of fertility regulation actions that guarantee equal rights to the constitution, limitation or increase of offspring by women, men or couples. Given this context, the present work aims to show reproductive methods through family planning for men and women who cannot by conventional means generate a fetus even with treatments to become pregnant. The study was carried out through a literature review of articles already published with different approaches. At the end of the research, it was found that issues related to infertility have become a public health problem that deserves greater attention, in Brazil there are laws that support couples seeking to establish a family, however, not everyone has this knowledge, further aggravating this scenario.
