PHARMACEUTICAL CARE AND INTEGRATIVE AND COMPLEMENTARY PRACTICES IN SUS: KNOWLEDGE AND ACCEPTANCE BY THE POPULATION OF NOVA IGUAÇU

This study aimed to present to the population of Nova Iguaçu the existence of the offer of Integrative and Complementary Practices in the SUS, in addition to informing the first steps for the implementation of these services in the public health network of the municipality using the Manual for Implementation of Practice Services Integrative and Complementary in the SUS of the Ministry of Health. It also presents, through an educational leaflet, some benefits of auriculotherapy, yoga and phytotherapy for the health of the population and based on Ordinance 1988 of December 20, 2018 of the Ministry of Health, it provides information on the areas that the pharmaceutical professional can act when properly trained and inserted in this program. Finally, the study found that the implementation of these practices in the health network of the municipality tends to be beneficial, as they are actions where the result is health promotion and prevention and suggests the implementation of a Live Pharmacy that, due to the high rate of green area in the territory of the municipality tends to be a successful experience.
