Abstract

Health professionals are exposed to different workloads and are therefore exposed to physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic and psychosocial risks. This study aims to address the application of Regulatory Norm No. 32 of the Ministry of Labor and Employment, inherent to health and safety in health establishments. As a methodology, theoretical-dogmatic research was used, making use of a literature review in bibliographic sources and legislation that address the topic under analysis, allowing us to conclude that health professionals are exposed to multiple risks, with physical and ergonomic risks prevailing, which allows us to conclude that there is a need for trained professionals and in sufficient numbers to meet the demand, in addition to being important for the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and good ergonomic conditions for workers, as recommended by NR 32.
