Abstract

The purpose of this article is to carry out a discussion about Occupational Therapy in Mental Health and its importance in this period of the COVID-19 Pandemic. For this, we have a literature review as a methodology of analysis. In view of what was intended, from the analyzes it is possible to affirm that Occupational Therapy in Mental Health influences both the rehabilitation process and the psychic impacts of COVID-19 on patients and/or people who have had sequelae of the disease. The article concludes that Occupational Therapy is crucial in facing the Pandemic, as well as in other areas of health promotion. However, like other health professionals, attention and constant qualification of this professional is needed.
