This article aims to reinforce knowledge about the levels of writing and reading described by Emília Ferreiro and Ana Teberosky, covered by the child until reaching literacy, making a reflection on how games can contribute to advances in the learning process. literacy. From a bibliographic review, we went through the teaching-learning over time, passing through the booklets that gave way to new methodologies that aimed to value the social context in which the student was inserted and in contact with the literate world, respecting knowledge information about writing and reading, emphasizing the value of this knowledge in the literacy process at school. At the end of the discussion, we demonstrate that currently, one of the most favorable pedagogical resources used to help the literacy process are games, which must be planned and used with clear and precise objectives, outlined by the teacher, to ensure the advancement of each child. , at each writing level and consolidate your learning so that it is meaningful.
